Statewide Minimum Wage & Paid Sick Leave Campaign

Allyship, in partnership with the Raise Up WA coalition of labor unions and community organizations’, passed a 2016 statewide ballot initiative (I-1433) to raise the statewide minimum wage to $13.50 by 2020 and to require employers to provide paid sick and safe leave to their workers (one hour of leave earned for every 40 hours worked).

We are proud of this amazing victory and will continue to fight for transformative economic justice policies that benefit LGBTQ low-income workers!
