LGBTQ Social Justice Leadership Institute
We believe that building sustainable leaders helps to support healthy, democratic, vibrant communities.
We want to build the skill-sets of LGBTQ individuals in the concepts and practical applications of progressive social change.
We want to heighten a sense of public responsibility in LGBTQ people to creatively engage in civic participation.
We want to build a collaborative community of LGBTQ individuals from various identities and perspectives to strengthen a sense of our interconnectedness as human beings.
To build and train 10 to 15 LGBTQ grassroots progressive leaders who can take learned skills to other areas of their lives for purposes of intersectional social justice.
We are able to offer our 2016 Leadership Institute for free due to individual donors, and private grants from the Pride Foundation and Communities of Opportunity.
