a QT Economic Justice trainer and help educate LGBTQ workers on the new Seattle Labor Standards.

TIMELINE

  • General Labor Standards Intensive Training: January, 2016
  • QT Economic Justice Focus group: First week in February, 2016
  • QT Labor Standards Training: End of February, 2016
  • QT Labor Standard public Trainings: March, April, August & October

QT Economic Justice Workshops

  • 1 LGBTQ General Worker’s Workshop (need 2 to 3 trainers)
  • 1 LGBTQ Youth Homeless Worker’s Workshop (need 2 to 3 trainers)
  • 1 Trans Worker’s Workshop (need 2 to 3 trainers)
  • 1 POC LGBTQ Worker’s Workshop (need 2 to 3 trainers)

OTHER POSSIBLE OPPORTUNITIES

  • YOU can become a Trans Worker Advocate (if you identify as part of the transgender community)
  • YOU can become an Allyship LGBTQ Worker presenter
  • YOU can join Allyship in Olympia to advocate for a Statewide Minimum Wage
  • YOU can share your worker story with public officials as part of Allyship’s Storysharing Project
  • YOU can be part of a LGBTQ Workers’ Rights Committee fighting for a Statewide Minimum Wage Initiative
  • YOU can fight for other QT economic justice policies at the city level as a participant in Seattle’s Workers’ Summit
  • YOU can collect signatures to ensure a Statewide Minimum Wage Initiative gets on the ballot
  • YOU can be part of a larger community of activists fighting for LGBTQ Economic Justice
  • YOU can become a rad QT economic justice change agent!!!
